MOTION by Commissioner Plufka, seconded by Co„ -issiorur Ware TQ AMEND to Amend the Main Motion by adding an exception to Condition No. 13< to recommend approval of the Variance request to allow display vehioles to be parked on an unpaved surface; using precast "paver block" strips upon which,` the :. vehicles can be Moved and pQrked; and, through which Grass can grow and give the appearance of green space. He can only support the vara.- ante r-equest if there is justification by }cast practicesand approvals by the City. - Commissioner Plufka stated this would be no different than the directional signage approved for Trammell Crow's Plymouth Business Center. The signage must be sized- for aesthetics but also: must function for traffic circulation and safety, Planner Cottingham explained the variance approved for Trammell Crow Company for Plymouth Business Center to exoeed the Ordinance maximum for directional signage on their site, , Commissioner Zylla confirmed `that the variance is granted to accomplish workable site circulation andel, the signage is, unique to this site for those reasons; Roll Call 'Vote: ' 4 dyes. NOTION carried, VOTE - NOTION CARRIED Commissioner Plufka. stated that the potential for a 'mass" of signage is a concern.
