RESOLUTION 2003 - 234
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PARCELS
CONSISTENT WITH THE LAND USE GUIDE PLAN DESIGNATION OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (2003022)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has initiated a reclassification of the zoning from RSF-2
(Single Family Detached 2) to P -I (Public/Institutional) for certain parcels located west of East
Medicine Lake Boulevard near 24th Avenue in order to achieve consistency between the land use
guide plan and the zoning map; and
WHEREAS, the affected parcels are legally described as follows:
All of Lot 1, Jevnes Subd. of Block 17, Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division
Lot 2, Jevnes Subd. of Block 17, Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division
Lot 3, Jevnes Subd. of Block 17, Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division
Lot 7, Jevnes Subd. of Block 17, Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division
Lot 8, Jevnes Subd. of Block 17, Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division
Park, Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing
and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcels as
described above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the reclassification of
the zoning for the parcels described above, based on the following findings:
1. The proposed rezoning would be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
2. The uses of the parcels would comply with the uses allowed by the zoning regulations.

3. The proposed rezoning would have no impact on infrastructure.
ADOPTED by the City Council on May 13, 2003.
