RESOLUTION 2003 - 233
APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT TO REGUIDE THREE
PARCELS LOCATED AT 2355, 2365, AND 2375 EAST MEDICINE LAKE BOULEVARD
TO ACHIEVE CONSISTENCY BETWEEN THE LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AND THE
ZONING MAP (2003022)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has initiated a reclassification of the land use guiding from P -I
(Public/Semi-Public/Institutional) to LA -1 (Living Area 1) for the three single-family parcels
located at 2355, 2365, and 2375 East Medicine Lake Boulevard in order to achieve consistency
between the land use guide plan and zoning map; and
WHEREAS, the affected parcels are legally described as Lots 4, 5, and 6, Jevnes Subdivision of
Block 17, Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing
and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the reclassification of
the land use guiding for the properties described above, based on the following findings:
1. The reclassification would create consistency between the land use guide plan and the zoning
map as required by state law.
2. The reclassification would be consistent with existing use of the affected properties.
3. The reclassification would not negatively impact any other Comprehensive Plan elements.
4. The reclassification would not negatively affect the City fiscally.

FURTHER, approval of this Comprehensive Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and subject
to, the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
