RESOLUTION NO. 2003-220
APPROVAL OF INSTITUTION COMMUNITY
WORK CREW PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City's Park Department has a backlog of projects that would be delayed
or have difficulty in undertaking; and
WHEREAS, it would be economically advantageous to utilize the Institution Community
Work Crew Program to complete these backlog tasks; and
WHEREAS, this program has been well received by other communities and is available
through the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, as adequate funds are available within the 2003 and Proposed 2004 and
2005 Park Maintenance Budgets,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the contract with the Institution Community Work Crew be
awarded for services rendered in the amount of $32,500 for the years 2003-2005 and that
the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to sign it.
