RESOLUTION NO. 2003-209
(Amends Resolution No. 2003-157)
MEDICINE LAKE WATERSHED IMPLEMENTATION
AND MANAGEMENT PLAN IMPLEMENTATION ITEM:
APPROVING THE AQUATIC VEGETATION MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, on March 25, 2003, by Resolution No. 2003-175, the City Council approved
the Medicine Lake Aquatic Vegetation Management Plan and the formation of an Aquatic
Vegetation Management Implementation Group; and
WHEREAS, the following representatives were appointed to the Vegetation Management
Implementation Group:
1. Association of Medicine Lake Area Citizens (AMLAC)
2. Bassett Creek Watershed Management Organization
3. City of Medicine Lake
4. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources
5. Plymouth Engineering Department
6. Plymouth Environmental Quality Committee (EQC)
7. Plymouth Parks Department
8. The Three Rivers Park District
9. Two At Large members who are residents of the City
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to appoint one At -Large member who doesn't
own property on Medicine Lake to the Aquatic Vegetation Management Implementation
Group,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that two residents who own property on Medicine
Lake would be appointed by the City Council to serve as At Large representatives on the
Vegetation Management Implementation Group.
