RECEIVE FEASIBILITY STUDY
ORDER IMPROVEMENT AND
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
1506 WESTON LANE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 3104
WHEREAS, the properties between Weston Lane and Vicksburg Lane north of County Road 6 have
been experiencing flooding problems due to high pond elevations in City Pond GL -P19; and
WHEREAS, the City's consultant, URS, has prepared a Feasibility Study regarding the construction of
improvements to address the backyard flooding; and
WHEREAS, the Feasibility Study finds that the proposed improvements will minimize flooding, are
cost effective and technically feasible; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the City Council on April 22, 2003;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that such improvement as described in the Feasibility Study for 1506
Weston Lane Drainage Improvements is hereby ordered and URS is designated as the engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for making such improvement.
FURTHERMORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the funding for this project be from the Water Resources
Fund.
Adopted by the City Council on April 22, 2003.
