EPA NPDES PHASE II MUNICIPAL SEPARATE STORM SEWER SYSTEM GENERAL STORM WATER PERMIT WHEREAS, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is requiring the City of Plymouth to apply for a municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4s) Phase II General Storm Water Permit, and WHEREAS, the Phase II General Storm Water Permit, requires the City of Plymouth to develop a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has participated in and attended workshops organized by the League of Minnesota Cities to gather information on how to develop a SWPPP in accordance with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's (MPCA) requirements, and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has accomplished the appropriate administrative procedures to complete the SWPPP, including review by the Plymouth Environmental Quality Committee, and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has now completed its SWPPP and is ready to submit it to the MPCA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City approves the prepared EPA Phase II General Storm Water Permit Application and authorizes the Director of Public Works to sign the General Storm Water Permit Application Form. Adopted by the City Council on April 22, 2003.
