HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-152CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2003-152 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF 2ND AVENUE NORTH (GREENDALE DRIVE AND GREENDALE LANE) GREENDALE ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Dennis R. Meyer and Robert Stacy have petitioned the City Council for the vacation of 2nd Avenue North street right-of-way: All that part of 2nd Avenue in the City of Plymouth, platted as Greendale Drive and Greendale Lane in the plat of Greendale lying westerly and southerly of the following described line. Beginning at the most southeasterly corner of Lot 5, Block 1 in the plat of Greendale; thence along a nontangential curve concave to the east, having a radius of 50.00 and a central angle of 73 degrees 44 minutes 00 seconds a distance of 64.34 feet to the most northeasterly corner of Lot 6, Block 2 in the plat of Greendale there terminating. Said 2nd Avenue abutting Lot 5, Block 1 on the south and Lot 6, Block 2 on the north and west. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of April 22, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. Adopted by the City Council on March 25, 2003.
