RESOLUTION NO. 2003-095
APPROVING PARK PROJECTS FOR 2003 CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council held a study session on park capital
improvement projects on February 11, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Park and Recreation Advisory
Commission have recommended approval of said projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that
the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to proceed with the planning of a skate
park and BMX park at Zachary Park, a trail on Lancaster Lane between 36th Avenue and
Pilgrim Lane, and is authorized to begin construction of a maintenance garage in
Plymouth Creek Park, and further, that funding for all of these projects shall come from
park dedication funds.
Adopted by the City Council on February 25, 2003.
