HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-046CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2003-046 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT FOR FRAUENSHUH COMPANIES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF STATE HIGHWAY 55 AND NORTHWEST BOULEVARD (2002152) WHEREAS, Frauenshuh Companies has requested a PUD (Planned Unit Development) General Plan Amendment for property legally described as Lot 4, Block 1, Northwest Business Campus 14th Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD General Plan Amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance text for Frauenshuh Companies for property located at the northeast corner of State Highway 55 and Northwest Boulevard. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Frauenshuh Companies for a PUD general plan amendment and related Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based on the following findings: 1. The requested PUD amendment and related lot arrangement with two separate restaurant buildings totaling 11,100 square feet would be consistent with the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan and the C (Commercial) guiding of the site. 2. The requested PUD amendment and related lot arrangement with two separate restaurant buildings totaling 11,100 square feet would not affect the intent or purpose of the approved PUD, because the PUD plan adopted in 1997 indicated 12,000 square feet of restaurant space for this site.
