RESOLUTION NO. 2003-039
APPROVING HAZARDOUS MATERIAL TRAINING GRANT AND
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, The State of Minnesota has been provided a grant by the U. S. Department of
Transportation to provide funds under the Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP)
program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has applied and has been authorized to receive grant funding
through the HMEP to conduct hazardous material training; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to the terms of the grant and authorizes the State of Minnesota,
Division of Emergency Management to enforce the grant contact in accordance with the applicable
rules and regulations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City enter into the grant agreement with the State of
Minnesota, Division of Emergency Management for a hazardous material grant, and authorize the
Mayor and City Manager to sign the agreement.
Adopted by the City Council on January 28, 2003.
