HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-027CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2003-027 APPROVING SALE OF PROPERTY AT 3950 AND 3960 COUNTY ROAD 101 TO FAMILY HOPE SERVICES INCORPORATED WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth purchased the property at 3950 County Road 101, adjacent to the City's water tower, in 1995 and financed that purchase through the Water Fund; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth purchased the property at 3960 County Road 101 in 2002, in conjunction with the County Road 101 reconstruction project; and WHEREAS, following a duly called public hearing as required by the City Charter, the Council has reviewed the offer of Family Hope Services Incorporated to purchase the property for the purpose of development of an approximately 4,800 square foot building, with related parking lot and landscape improvements, containing offices and meeting rooms for the purpose of conducting its "Tree House" youth and family counseling services; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize the Mayor and City Manager to sign a purchase agreement and contract for deed for the sale of property at 3950 and 3960 County Road 101 to Family Hope Services Incorporated. FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that the Project Administration Fund shall finance the project until such time as the purchase price of $214,214.00 shall be paid pursuant to the contract for deed.
