HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-026CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2003-026 RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS 2003 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT MISSION AREA CITY PROJECT NO. 3101 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted December 17, 2003, a report has been prepared with respect to certain streets in Maintenance District 27 based upon the 2000 Pavement Management Annual Update; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on January 7, 2003; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property within the designated 2003 Street Reconstruction Project, Mission Area, City Project No. 3101 for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,716,000. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 11th day of February 2003 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. Adopted by the City Council on January 7, 2003.
