RESOLUTION NO. 2003-025
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 2 AND FINAL
FIRE STATION NO. 3 PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 1010
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and DMJ Corporation as contractor, have
entered into an agreement for Fire Station No. 3 Parking Lot Reconstruction Project, City
Project No. 1010, said agreement was approved by the City Council on July 23, 2002;
and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $119,115.50 and the value of the
work to date is $112,463.65 and is herewith approved. This project does
not exceed the original contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Fire Station No. 3 Parking
Lot Reconstruction Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as
to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the
owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final
payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of $21,710.39 to DMJ
Corporation for Fire Station No. 3 Parking Lot Reconstruction Project is
hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith.
Adopted by the City Council on January 7, 2003.
