RESOLUTION NO. 2003-022
APPROVING DONATION OF ART PRINT
TO THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES
WHEREAS, Mayor Joy Tierney dedicated many hours of work to the League of
Minnesota Cities programs; and
WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities office building is decorated with donated art
work from various communities throughout the state; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has a Plymouth watercolor print commissioned as a
fund raiser for the Millennium Garden project; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council wish to donate one print to the League of Minnesota
Cities,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that
the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to purchase one framed print and
donate it to the League of Minnesota Cities.
Adopted by the City Council on January 7, 2003.
