HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1997-31CITY OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 97-31 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XII OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE CONCERNING THE SALE, CONSUMPTION AND DISPLAY OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 1206.17 of the Plymouth City Code is amended to read: On -Sale Sunday Liquor License. On -sale Sunday liquor licenses may be issued only to a hotel or restaurant, with facilities for serving not less than fifty (50) guests at one time, to which an on -sale intoxicating license has been issued. Such license may permit the sale of liquor to be consumed on the premises between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Monday in conjunction with the serving of food provided that the licensee is in conformance with the Minnesota Clean Air Act and provided a public hearing is held prior to the issuance of the license. No Sunday license is needed for on -sale wine licenses. The fee for a Sunday liquor license is set by Chapter X. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage.
