Chairwoman ,Vaslliou asked if' this` was their intention %-hen

intention. He explained further that if they are open to

Commissioner Wire asked what the business involves are r

Mr. Prouty stated they are planning only for three sakes, at
this time.

Prouty statt,d they plan on ceasing their wholesale oper-
ations during the time of the retail sales, theyhave space

Chairwoman Vasillou Inquired abut their mode of adver-
tising. Mr. Prouty 'stated they would place newspaper ads,
and thepropose to use a 4 x 8 Porto-sigr, , for th sale's if
ailowed, and it will only he out durir q the acorea of the
sale.
Mrs Prouty asked to clarify the Order from the Fire Marshal,,
he stated that eyerythfnq has been noted that was ounta,ined
in his letter and at least 0 of the items listed h ve been
taken care of. Mr. Prouty added that they hope to have
their first sake' .tn May at"t,r completion of the hear*ngs and
approval from City Council, he stated tti at no ads rtis no
commitments have been made at this time.

MOTION,by Commissioner Wlre., seconded by Commissioner Fauna
reoommending approval for the Lot Division and Variance for ` RECOMWNDATION R
Hennepin County Park Reserve District for .hand located in
the southwest quarter of Section 4, northeast of Pomerleau
Lake per Recommendation B. Vote 5 Ayes. MOTION carried.
Charwoman Vasiliou Introduced the next Item for dlscussjon;

Commissionerioner Wire commented that the setback variance
7equest for the south side puts the buil inq closer to the
service station, and perhaps the station operator should be -
notified and the petitioner should talk with him* Mr..
Erickson stated that he is quite sure his brother has talked
with the owner of the service station.

Commissioner Plufka directed staff to be certain that the
owner of the service station is notified before this item is
heard by City Council.
