Mr, Scharmr stated he is president of the'westminster Homeowners

in the progression, of this development. He stated they feel,
that Prudential Xnstirance Company has done an excellent job$
but, there are some concerns about the lighting pian. r.
charmer showed slides of views from the hones In the neighborhood
and how they will see the li hting, pointing out that there is
not much of a buffer betwe n" the neighborhood and the development.

homes which could be curtailed by; the lighting from the development.
He stated that the fixtures propose= are attractive and expeqive,
but that the neighborhood will look up into the area and the
height of the street is , s could inlorease the Intensity of the

concerned about the bright lighting Impacting the wildlife in
the wetland area between the development and the aoighborh od.
He feels that the lighting as proposed is Lora extensive, and that
normal city lightinq standards should be used.. He also
stated his concern that as the area is developed, even more

that with this proposal they are trying to comply with City Council
direction$ and also meet the County requirements, Prudential's

development. He added that the lighting will be phased as stated

from the lights and the impact on surrounding neighborhoods.

would see on a misty, foggy, night; but that the residential
areas are frtoii 300 to 500 feet from the develoraent and
this should not be a: factor as there will not be a high
concentration of light to these areas,
