preparation work. Mir. Uban responded that only the first phase of the project would
be worked n except for beming along Zachzry Lane. Comamissioner Pauha inquired
whether rough fish are getting, into the wz-:Jand, areas within the project fron,
Bays Lake. Mr. Uban, commented that he did- not think that the, wetlands wool support
any roughfish. Staff commented that the area shown in blue on the graphics was the
natural tl area, not a Take*

be required to post a landscaping bond and staff coi*m ented that the site improve-
ment quarantee required by the City u*uld be fbtr 24 months; the landscape rIan, must
be completed before this bond will Ibe released.
Staff discussed the private internal trails as well as the City Orridor paved trail
within the develo-M.-ent. Mr. Uban explained the trail system, which would be provided
for people On live within the development, and would not be a public trail. This
trail will 'ae Or jogging, and will be surfaced with shredded bark rather than
the usual surfacing vtials used for trails. Staff co s'umented on the trail
corridor adjacent to 53rd Avenue North and explained this was proposed as the
sepnent shown on the corridor plan as being adjacent to the railread tracks.

Chairwoman Vasiliou recognized Petitioner David Peterson., 5240 Cottonwood Lane,
who Kated that he lives by this area and feels, that this is a well-designed
project.
Chairwoman Vasilou had received agenda- tardy from petitioner Harlan Peterson
and. Peter Nblinaro and Gerald V'Iazzara,, rchitect and engineer for this project,
They stated they had nothing to add*

Honeywell leases, and that the owner, has no- objection to the proposal.

federal revenue s aring and other programs*
