Chairwoman Vasillou opened the public hearing and noted that there were several ersens present wha elected not to speak but were there to observe the proceedings. Extensive discussion ensued regarding the Strategies o east Housing e ds" oil , pages 61-63 of the report. TIO CARRIES All in Favor Associate Planner Alda Peikert teen reviewed the Park Needs 4nalysis dated February 1980 submitted b,' Barte-n-Aschman Associates which was also - re ar d i ; support of the ComprehensivePlan Update effort. She explained that the analysis had been velvied as the first part of a two-part planning effort relative to parks and trails; the second part,, which had yet to be ordered and which was not mandatory for the compliance with the Mi trop to .and Planning Acts coastitoted the Updated Park Plan.
