ORDINANCE NO. 97-1
AN INTERIM ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY
PROHIBITING NEW ADVERTISING SIGNS
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Intent. This is an extension of Plymouth Ordinance No.
96-10 . It is the intent of this Ordinance to allow the City of Plymouth time to
complete planning studies and adopt appropriate land use controls, and in the interim to
protect the planning process and the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the
community.
SECTION 2. Extension. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 96-10 is amended by
deleting "April 30, 1997" and inserting in its place "April 30, 1998. "
SECTION 3. This ordinance is effective immediately upon its passage.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 2nd day of April, 1997 31
