HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2015-116 CP ITY OF LYMOUTH RN.2015-116 ESOLUTION O RAFF ESOLUTION PPROVING INDINGS OF ACT FOR AMENDING THE ZOTNBC8 TH ONING RDINANCE EXT RELATED TO THE ORTHWEST USINESS AMPUS A, DDITION 2600CD(2015011) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT AMPUS RIVE WHEREAS, Willow Properties #6, LLC has requested a planned unit development (PUD) amendment to allow revisions to the approved PUD general plan for the site located at 2600 Campus Drive; and WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, Northwest Business Campus th 8 Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance text. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does support and approve the request by Willow Properties #6, LLC for a PUD amendment and related zoning ordinance text amendment, based on the following findings: 1.The amendment is consistent with the objectives of the city’s comprehensive plan and with the industrial guiding of the site. 2.The amendment would not affect the purposes or intent of the PUD.
