AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE
CITY CODE RELATING TO ACCESSORY BUILDINGS FOR RESIDENTIAL USES

THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 21120.01, Subdivisions 1 and 6 of the Plymouth City Code,
adopted December 18, 1996 under Ordinance No. 96-33, is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION 21120 - ACCESSORY BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES,
USES AND EQUIPMENT
21120.01. RESIDENTIAL USES:
Subd.1. U.cePt as ;R%, be spolgifilgally Pre;'idad, No accessory use,
building, structure or equipment shall be allowed within a front yard, except that an
accessory use, building or structure may be allowed within a front yard which qualifies as
an equivalent rear or side yard as defined by this Chapter, provided it meets the minimum
front yard setback specified for the principal building on the lot. Ulith the ox-"@p4io 4
Subd. 6. Accessory buildings lass.thata of one hundred twenty (120) square
feet in floor area or less shall be allowed without issuance of a building permit, but shall
comply with all other provisions of this Chapter.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage.
ADOPTED by the City Council on April 6, 1999.
