RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR THE
CREEKSIDE TRUNK WATER MAIN Ft RAW WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT BETWEEN WELLS 4 Fk 6
CITY PROJECT NOS. 14021 Ft14033
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids fort he Creekside Trunk Water Main & Raw Water Main
Replacement Between Wells 4 & 6, City Project Nos. 14021 & 14033, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to State law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Ellingson Drainage, Inc. out of West Concord, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Ellingson Drainage, Inc. out of West
Concord, MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for
the bid with Ellingson Drainage, Inc. out of West Concord, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the
Creekside Trunk Water Main & Raw Water Main Replacement Betwenn Wells 4 & 6 according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount
of $423,910.90.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be from the Water Fund
in the amount of $445,106.45.
APPROVED by the City Council this 28th day of April, 2015.
