HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2015-110CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2015-110 RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR PAYMENT No. 2 AND FINAL FOR THE 2015 SANITARY SEWER LINING PROJECT ( 14018) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as the owner and Insituform Technologies USA as the contractor, have entered into an agreement for the 2014 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project, City Project No. 14018, said agreement was approved by the City Council on April 22, 2014; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $627,318.50 and that the value of the work to date is $618,337.00 and is herewith approved. The final contract amount is $8,981.50 or 1.4% below the original contract amount. 2. That the work performed by the contractor for the 2014 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of $30,916.85 to Insituform Technologies USA for the 2014 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project is hereby approved and the Administrative Services Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. 4. Funding for this project will be through the Sewer Fund. APPROVED by the City Council this 28th day of April, 2015.
