HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 2000-25CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 2000-25 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY CODE TO CLASSIFY CERTAIN LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT OF THE INTERSECTION OF VICKSBURG LANE AND HIGHWAY 55 AS PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) AND CC -RE (CITY CENTER, RETAIL/ENTERTAINMENT) AND AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21(PUD ZONING DISTRICT) (20040) THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: Section 1. Amendment of City Code. Chapter 21 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, adopted December 18, 1996 as amended, is hereby amended by changing the classification on the City of Plymouth Zoning Map from O -R (Office/Residential) to PUD (Planned Unit Development) and CC -RE (City Center, Retail/Entertainment) with respect to the hereinafter described property: Outlot I, Sugar Hills Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Section 2. Amendment of City Code. Chapter 21 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, adopted December 18, 1996 as amended, is hereby amended to add Section 21655.26—Plymouth Marketplace PUD, as follows: 21655.26 PLYMOUTH MARKETPLACE PUD: Subd. 1. Legal Description. The PUD is legally described as referenced in Resolution 2000-329, on file in the Office of the Zoning Administrator under File 20040. Subd. 2. Incorporated herein by reference are the Plymouth Marketplace PUD application received by the City on March 31, 2000, and the revised plans received on May Ordinance 2000-25 Page 2 of 2 23, 2000, except as amended by City Council Resolution 20002 9 on file in the Office of the Zoning Administrator under File 20040. Subd. 3. Allowable Uses. The uses allowed in this PUD shall include any permitted, accessory, conditional or interim uses allowed in the C-1 and C-2 districts. In addition, a 120 -unit senior care building shall be permitted on Lot 1. All the uses listed above shall be considered as "permitted" uses in the PUD, provided they comply with the development standards and conditions for such uses under the most restrictive zoning district. Subd. 4. Development Standards. Development standards shall be as indicated on the approved PUD general plan dated May 23, 2000, except as amended by City Council Resolution 2000-3 2 3 Section 3. Effective Date. This amendment shall take effect upon its passage and publication.
