ORDINANCE 2000-18
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER II OF
THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE CONCERNING THE
SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 205.01 of the Plymouth City Code is amended in its entirety to read:
205.02 Salaries of Mayor and Councilmembers.
Subd. 1. Mayor. The salary of the Mayor is S$957.00 per month.
Subd. 2. Councilmembers. The salary of a Councilmember is $525$693.00 per
month.
Subd. 3. Salary Adjustment. Following the municipal regular election in 2002, and
following each subsequent municipal regular election, the salary of the Mayor and
Councilmembers shall be adjusted following the municipal election to become effective January
1 in a percentage equal to the change in the United States Department of Labor Consumer Price
Index (November renortl for all urban consumers U.S. citv average since the last salary
adjustment.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect after the next succeeding municipal election
on January 1, 2001.
