Stat. 410.12, Subd 5 authorizes the City Council to propose charter amendments to the voters by ordinance. THE CITY OF PL YMO UTH ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Chapter 2 of the City Charter is amended by modifying Section 2.03, Subd. 4 to read: The mayor is elected for a term of U*e four years and a council member is elected for a term of four years. The mayor and council members serve until their successors are elected and qualify for office. SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective January 1, 2003, and only when approved by the voters as provided in Minn. Stat. 410.12, Subd. 4. y lyn A. Tierney, Mayor ��2�ewo2l Sandra R.
