Kroskin opened the Public Hearing at 7:40 p,m T-377 Plymouth Freeway Center A-377 Preisminary Plat '(RLS) Staff presented petitioner's request to replat a portion of "Plymouth FreewayCenter" located at the northeast corner of I-494 and Highway 55. The replat was necessitated by an error in a lot Eine between Lots 2 and 3, Block 1. of the pkat. The lot Line rearrangement is needed to provide the Cricket Inn with the necessary area and side yard setbacks as per City Zoning Ordinance requirements. Chairman Kroskin closed the Public Hearing on this item, at 7:35 p.m. NMION was ..ade by CoAmnnssioner Hagen, supported by Commissioner Schneider, that the Pl.anziing Commission act on this petition at this :meeting. ZQTION CAMIED (5-0-0) (All in favor) MOTION CARRIED Chairman Kroskin opened the second public hearing at 7:35 p.m. Rezoning andTA.-ass LaFe- O is bR Prelimzna,I plat Staff presented petitioner's request to plat and. rezone 6.1: acres at the northeast side of Bass Lake from Rw0 to R-1 based on a General Development plan to include seven building lots for single fn;,,i3y homes :and one outlot. Staff further noted to the Commission that a recommendation fcr denial was presented based on the fact that no public utilities are presently available at the site; and Council Resolution No. 73-37 specifically prohibits development of any such acroage without public utilities. Chai.rnan XroF' ji closed the public hearing on this item at 7:40 p.m. MOTION was shade by Commissioner Schneider, supportedby C ussxoner Davenport,. that the Planning Commission act on this petition at this meeting MOTION CARRIED (S-0-0) (,.11 in favors MOTION CARRIED PLA{WING CONMISSION' MEETING MINUTES .2- October 22, 1975 T-377 plymout re iaay enter A - MY Preliminary Plat (RLS) MOTION was made by Commissioner Davenport, supported by Commissioner Hagen, that the Planning Commission make the following recommendation to the CityCouncil: That approval be granted for RLS No. (As per Hennepin Countydetermination) dated September 29, 19 6 supercede the Lobs 2 and 3 Block 1, "Plymouth Freeway Center's final plat as recorded with Henrepin County, MOTION CARRIED (5-0-a) (All in favor) MOTION CARRIED Rezoning andBassLakeOaks (A--734)Preliminary Plat MOTION was made by Commissioner Threi.nen, supported by Commissioner Schneider, that the Planning Commission make the following recommendation to the City Council: That the request for rezoning and preliminary pl.a4 for "Bass Lake Oaks" be denied for the following reason: Trunk and Interceptor systems will not be avilable to the site until 1976 or 1977 and development is therefore cont:nary to Resolution, ##73-37 'which specifically prohibits development of all such acreage until public utilities are available. MOTION TO AN END was made by Commissioner Schneider, supported by Commissioner Threinen, that i.i the event the City Council decides to waive Policj Resolution ##73-37, that the A-634 plat return to the Planning Commission and Planning Staff for additional consideration of other matters concerning the plat. MOTION10 .t ND CARRIED (5-Q-0) (All in favor) MOTION CARRIED Conditional Use Permit A-636 Herb's Service Garai-636 for AccessorUse Staff presented a City -initiated request for a conditional use permit to continue operation of a trailer rental, business at a service station located at the southeast corner of County Road 6 and Highway 101. Staff recommended approval of the regnest subject to the conditions as listed in the Staff rapist. 10N was made by Commissioner Schneider, supported by Commissioner Hagen, that the Planning Commission stake the following Recommendation to the CityCouncil. That the 'request of David C. Johnson, dba Herb's Service Garage, for a conditional use permit to continue a trailer rental service, be approved subject to the following conditions 1 Annual review of the conditional use permit. The parking of no more than four trailers at petitioner's site. Petitioner stated that this would present a hardship as far as the trailer rental since the trailers would not be as visible to passers-by if they were parked at the side or rear of the site, WTION TO ABC was rade by Commissioner Davenport, supported by Commissioner Hagen,that Condition ff2 of the previous motion be changed to state that the parking of no more than .four trailers may take place at the present location for a period of one year only, after which time the trailers would have to be moved to an alternate location.
