ORDINANCE NO. 2001-03
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING INTERIM ORDINANCE #2000-20
TEMPORARILY PROHIBITING THE ISSUANCE OF
SUBDIVISION APPROVAL AND ZONING APPROVALS IN STUDY AREA C
LOCATED SOUTH OF CSAH 10 (BASS LAKE ROAD), EAST OF TRENTON LANE
AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 169
THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. INTENT: It is the intent of this ordinance to allow the City of Plymouth
additional time to complete an in-depth study concerning adoption of a comprehensive revision
to the City's Comprehensive Plan for the study area and official controls implementing the
comprehensive plan, and in the interim to protect the planning process and the health, safety, and
welfare of the citizens of the community in compliance with Minnesota Statute 462.355 Subd. 4.
SECTION 2. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION: Pending the completion of the above
referenced study and the adoption of appropriate official controls, no building permits, sketch
plans reviews, subdivisions or zoning approvals, as defined in Ordinance #2000-20, shall be
processed or approved and no application for such approvals shall be accepted for property in the
study area.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its approval and shall remain in effect until the date of the adoption of the comprehensive plan
amendment and official controls contemplated hereunder or December 31, 2001.
