RESOLUTION No. 2015-108
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CREATION OF AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER POSITION
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied and discussed its goals for the City with regard to
economic development; and
WHEREAS, the City Council communicated to the City Manager a desire for a proactive and
effective long term economic development strategy; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the city will need a full-time regular Economic
Development Manager to fulfill the goals of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does:
1. Approve the creation of a full-time regular Economic Development Manager position.
2. Approve placement of the Economic Development Manager position at grade 22 of the
City's 2015 Compensation Plan.
APPROVED by the City Council this 14th day of April, 2015.
