Mfr. Keely* resident of the neighboring area., stated that lie was worried that the general area would become a city of shopping centers and no residents. Notion was made by Commissioner Pollock, second by Commissioner Prei kar that this matter be referred to the Long Range Planning Committee and at the same time instruct the planning staff to reviev extending the comprehensive guide plan to cover this area. Motion carried, unanimous ave vote. Public notification of hearings on n, proposed guide plan, will be in the paper. Upon calling for a vote on the matter by the Chairman, 3 members 'voted in .favor of the motion and 3 members voted against the motion.. Chairman Egan declared the motion defeated.
