Temroc and Alpaaa to extend parking across ;the boundary of the two companies. The Council at their regularly scheduled meeting of September 8, 1969 approved`.a waiver for a 37' variance from the 50' sideline requirements leaving 13' to build a proposed addition to Temroc Metal ' s building at 273; Cheshire Lane North. Based on the Council's approval of the variance, the Commission recommends that Temroc Proceed with t"hei,r building plans. PAUL'S WOODCRAFT Paul's Woodcraft has started excavating and footings and are well into the setback.. Mr. Hamman stated that Council approval has been received on the setback. The font yard has cars abutting the building but doesn't look real bad. Mr. Egan commented that up to 3 cars parked in front are fine but more are not recommended, Mr, ;Egan directed Mr. Hagen to check; with.. the Building Department to see if they were operating without: a permit They have been issued a permit by the Building Department and final approval is now recommended by the Planning Commission at the 9-24-69 meeting. CONTROL DATA Control Data's sight plans were briefly discussed. Planner Russell said that foundations were: going up. Everything appears to be in order although the Village hasn't been contacted: The required parking space is 700, they have proposed 1,200, Planner Russell said he would like to see some islands in their parking lot but felt that the lot would be, pretty well secluded when the trees and foil.age dot bigger. Russell felt their plan was acceptable. PIAYHOUS E Planner Russell presented two plans that he proposed for the Playhouse area. Russell said that lie was trying to gear compatible land u-,so, :le did not feel that it was not compatible to have single family residents so close to industry evert though buffered by toc,-nhouses , Playhcuse stated that they need 20 acres for Playhouse: but would like 40 acres because of Sentry Mechandise- Service who would like to start construction before next summer and be in by Ja-nuary of 1971, 1 Playhouse was quite interested in Planner Russell's Alternate Plan #2 as itwas similar to theirs.
