In discussion, the importance of control of odors was brought out
es -well as the need for checking the mooning Ordinance in regazd to
enforcement of requirements., Mr, Berk1y pointed. out that conditions
could be put on before granting a Building Permit.

Co Rd. 731 and. Marren Chapman, 18 Balsam Lane.
Opposition was chiefly slue to the single familyy residential
character of the neighborhood and, the established, pattern of
large lots.

to Hwy. 101, and residential character of the neighborhood.
Ch=. Egan. pointed out that under the Zoning Ordinance, R-2 zoning
mast have sanitary, sewer immediately available.
The Hearing was declared closed at 9:45 p.m.

reviewed.

William Rademacher appeared to request a Conditional Use Permit for
a, superette (off -sale beer :license) in one-half of a building at
36th Avenue Y. and Co. Rd. 88 in, a B-3 area. He stated that a
license has been granted for ,ata off -sale liquor' store in the other
half of the; building,

Tom Garrison appeared to request approval of a plot plan for an; RE GARRISON
industrial building at 7th.Avenu:i N. and Co, did. 18 in an 1-1 area. PROP eY
Chinn. Egan pointed out that development in the area has been done
on a piecemeal basis and aur not wet with Planning Commission ap-
proval, and further that the plot plan as presented does not meet
the requirements of 1-1 zoning.

mittee be appointed to work with the Planner to come up with a plan
showing the present buildings and roads toward arriving at a better
understanding of the, traffic problems and general manner of devel-
opmeat in the a rea, to be used as the tool in future development -

The Chair appointed a Special Committee of Com. Hefner, Chairman,
and Commissioners Prekker and Chapman.
x. Garrison was advised to check the Zoning Ordirjence and come up
with a well developed site plan, and also to supply to Com. Rafner
layouts of existing property boundaries and existing buildings in
the aa; -ea.
Richard Cox, MIP, appeared to request appro,,raj of a. site plan for MIP SITE PL"'r

and a, variance in the distance from the back line of the building

It was,brought out that people within the 200 feet have complained
of not being notified of rtblic Hearings and that this was often the
result of mortgage companies not forwardingL notices.
The la.otion was defeated by a tie vote. Com's. 'Egan, Prekk.er and
Kirchhoff voted aye., Corn's.. Hedtke, Kindse.th :and willenbring voted
nay. Com. ,Holcombe abstained,,

by John Bergly and discussed. It was the consensus of opinion that ROADWAYS
possibly in the future East Medicine Lake Road could be, developed
along the proposed re -alignment, but that it would appear that
economics at this., time would indicate, leaving it where it is.
