HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 2005-35CITY OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 2005-35 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE CONCERNING LICENSE AND PERMIT FEES THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA ORDAINS: Section 1. Section 1010.01, Subds. 4 through 7 of the Plymouth City Code are hereby amended as follows: Subd. 4. Section 1015.13 of the Plymouth City Code is hereby amended as follows: 1015.13. Plumbing. Plumbing permit procedures and fees are as follows. It shall be unlawful for any person to perform work subject to the Building Code for which a permit is required without first obtaining a permit therefore from the City; such permits shall be issued by the City only to persons licensed as plumbers by the State and registered as such with the City or to persons making application to do any such work wholly within a residence owned and occupied by the applicant to whom the permit is to be issued and who shall be charged the following as permit fees: (a) Base minimum permit fee (In addition to other fees set forth in (b) to (d) below (b) Each fixture (c) Yard sprinkler (d) Each permit for alteration or repair of existing plumbing and for other plumbing work not included above thereof &1 15 Residential &16 20 Commercial $8 $20 $8 for the first $100 or fraction thereof in estimated cost; $3 for each additional $100 in estimated cost or fraction (e) Water softener $15 per each (Ord. 98-7, 03/18/97; Ord. 98-39,11118198; Ord. 2003-22, 07/22/2003) Section 3. Section 1015.17 of the Plymouth City Code is hereby amended as follows: 1015.17. Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration Fees. (a) For the installation of any central heating and/or air conditioning system, the fee shall be -lam 1.5% of the estimated cost. The minimum fee shall be SW 100 for any such central system. (b) For additional alterations or repairs to any central system, the permit fee shall be 411A 1.5% of the estimated cost. The minimum permit fee shall be $2-5 $40. (c) For each appliance or piece of equipment regulated by the Code, but not classed in other appliance categories or for which no other fee is listed in this Code, the fee shall be 411A 1.5% of the estimated cost. Section 1015.23 of the Plymouth City Code is hereby amended as follows: 1015.23. Zoning and Subdivision Fees: Special Provisions. Subdivision 1. Scope and Application. This Subsection applies to applications made pursuant to Chapter 5 (Subdivision Regulations) and Chapter 21 (Zoning Ordinance) of this Code. Subd. 2. Fees. Reduced Site Plan Review Fees. The fee for Site Plan review shall be 50% of the Site Plan Amendment review fee provided in Subdivision 2 for plan modifications reviewed under Section 21045.08 of the Zoning Ordinance. Subd. 4. Proposed Development and Land Use Action Announcement Sign Fees. Abase fee of $165 will be charged for the installation and removal by the City of signs announcing proposed developments and land use actions as required by Section 21022.01 of the Zoning Ordinance. This fee shall be in addition to the established planning application fee set forth in Subd. 2. The base fee will cover the cost of the installation of one development sign. For each additional sign required, an additional $50 fee shall be paid. (Ord. 98-39, 11118198; Ord. 2003-18, 06/10/2003) Section 7.
