HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 2005-19CITY OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 2005-19 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY CODE TO CLASSIFY CERTAIN LAND LOCATED IN "TARYN HILLS" EAST OF VICKSBURG LANE, NORTH AND SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD 47 (2005045) THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: Section 1. Amendment of City Code. Chapter 21 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, is hereby amended by changing the classification on the City of Plymouth Zoning Map from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to RSF-2 (Single Family Detached 2) with respect to the roughly 72.5 -acre parcel, presently legally described as follows: That part of the North Half of Section 4, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies northerly of Hennepin County Highway Number 47 and east of the following described line: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of said Section 4; thence on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees 18 minutes 21 seconds East along the north line of said North Half of Section 4, a distance of 1121.79 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence on a bearing of South, 159.45 feet; thence South 29 degrees 31 minutes 44 seconds East, 245.00 feet; thence South 13 degrees 28 minutes 19 seconds West, 178.21 feet; thence South 7 degrees 31 minutes 39 seconds West, 189.86 feet to the north right- of—way line of said Hennepin County Highway Number 47, where said line terminates. Except those parts described as follows: The north 353.87 feet of that part of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 118, Range 22, West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lying north of the centerline of County Road No. 47, except the west 675.10 feet thereof. That part of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 118, Range 22, West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lying north of the centerline of County Road No. 47 and south of the north 1062.41 feet, except the west 675.10 feet thereof. Section 2. Amendment of City Code. Section 3. Amendment of Cites. Chapter 21 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, is hereby amended by changing the classification on the City of Plymouth Zoning Map from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to C-2 (Neighborhood Commercial) with respect to the roughly eight -acre parcel, presently legally described as follows: That part of the North Half of Section 4, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies northerly of Hennepin County Highway Number 47 and west of the following described line: 2 Commencing at the Northwest Corner of said Section 4; thence on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees 18 minutes 21 seconds East along the north line of said North Half of Section 4, a distance of 712.33 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence South 00 degrees 41 minutes 39 seconds West, 272.31 feet; thence southeasterly along a non-tangential curve, concave to the southwest, 61.52 feet, said curve has a radius of 106.32 feet, a central angle of 33 degrees 09 minutes 09 seconds and a chord of 60.67 feet, which bears South 43 degrees 41 minutes 18 seconds East; thence South 27 degrees 06 minutes 43 seconds East, tangent to the last described curve, 70.66 feet; thence southerly along a tangential curve , concave to the west, 169.39 feet, said curve has a radius of 230.92 feet and a central angle of 42 degrees 01 minute 38 seconds; thence South 14 degrees 54 minutes 54 seconds West to said north right-of-way line of Hennepin County Highway Number 47, where said line terminates.
