HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 2004-17CITY OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 2004-17 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TEXT OF CHAPTER 21 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE, ENTITLED THE PLYMOUTH ZONING ORDINANCE, ALLOWING TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY OF THE EXISTING PRINCIPAL BUILDING ON SINGLE - FAMILY LOTS DURING CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW HOME (2004080) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Amendment to City Code. Section 21105.03 (General Building and Performance Standards— Platted and Unplatted Property), Subd. 4 is hereby amended to provide: Subd.4. No more than one principal building shall be located on a single- family residential lot, unless authorized by interim use permit to allow the temporary occupancy of an existing dwelling during construction of a new dwelling. Except by conditional use permit, no more than one (1) principal building shall be located on a multiple family residential lot or non - residential lot. The words "principal building" shall be given their common, ordinary meaning as defined in Section 21005 of this Chapter. (Amended by Ord. No. 99 -5, 01119199) SECTION 2. Effective Date.
