RESOLUTION No. 2013-013
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PARK MASTER PLAN
FOR FAIRWAYS GREENS NEIGHBORHOOD PARK
AND APPROVAL TO PROCEED WITH DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has developed a master plan for Fairway
Greens neighborhood park near the Traditions and Hampton Hills development; and
WHEREAS, a neighborhood open house and "Help Design Your Neighborhood Park"
questionnaire was utilized to solicit input on the proposed plan; and
WHEREAS, residents of the neighborhood were also invited to the Parks and Recreation
Advisory Commission meeting to provide additional input on the proposed plan; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed the plan and
recommended unanimously its approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Fairway Greens master plan as presented and
recommended by the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission is approved and, fiirther, that the
Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to proceed with the development of the park utilizing
Park Dedication Funds in accordance with the $300,000.00 CIP budget approved by the City Council.
