RESOLUTION No. 2012-328
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE
FEASIBILITY REPORT AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE
BASSETT CREEK WATERSHED MANAGEMENT COMMISSION AND TO
ORDER THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE
FOUR SEASONS MALL WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 11022
WHEREAS, a feasibility report has been prepared by the City of Plymouth and approved by
the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission in reference to the Four Seasons Mall
Water Quality Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, a Cooperative Agreement has been prepared by the Bassett Creek Watershed
Management Commission in reference to the Four Seasons Mall Water Quality Improvement
Project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes constriction of water quality ponding and
restoration of 3700 linier feet of stream to reduce phosphorus loading to Northwood Lake; and
WHEREAS, said agreement was approved by the Bassett Creek Watershed Management
Commission on September 20, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission will reimburse the City
for the cost of the improvements, up to $990,000 per the terms of the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
I. The Council hereby approves the feasibility report and the Cooperative
Agreement as presented; and
2. Orders the Four Seasons Mall Water Quality Improvement Project, City
Project No. 11022; and
3. Authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to execute the agreement on behalf
of the City.
