PLYMOUTH PARK AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMISSION
August 151, 1978
The special. ,.eti" of the Plymouth Park and Recreation Advisory Commission was
called to order by Chairman Dick Williams at 7:30 pm in the Council Chambers of
the City of Plymouth.: The special meeting was held because the regular meeting
did not have a quorum.
MEMBERS PRESENT! Barb Edwards, Mary Getten, James Guddol, James Riney Dorothy
Terry, Betty Threinen, Bob Troemel, Chairman Dick Williams
and Director Jon Born:.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Alan Brass.

nutes of the July 6 1978 meeting were read and approved..
BASS LAKE -TIMBER SNORES
Victor Born reviewed the meetings held between the Commission, Staff and the
Bass Lake -Timber Shores area citizens and specifically Mr. Mayne Johnson.
GREEN TREE WEST
Director Born r -ported ori Council's direction for Green Tree West island and
maintenance, reforestatioR and manual of operations and maintenance.
CIP
fWie Park and Recreation Advisory Commission finalized the parks CIP for 1979-83..
The CIP will be forwarded to the Planning Director for consideration by the
Planning Commission and ultimately to Council for consideration and adop}tion.
Commissioner Guddal moved and Commissioner Edwards seconded a motion that the
1979-83 parks CIP be finalized. Motion carried..
OTHER BUSINESS
Director Born informed. Commissioners relative to contract termination. of All
American Recreation and Sales, Inc. and Wehrman, Chapman Associates, Inc..
Director Born informed Commissioners. relative to Council adoption o the parks
operations and maintenance manual.
Commissioners indicated the desire to hod a regular meeting on September 7, 1978
and to schedule the parks tour on September 14, 1978.to start at 4:00 pm and
finish with dinner at the Radisson.
ADJOURNMENT
Being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:00 pm.
