October 26, 1978 A special meeting (workshop) of the Plymouth. Park and Recreation Advisory Commission was called to order at 5:15 pm by Chairman Williams in the Mariner Conference Room. in the City of Plymouth. MEMBERS PRESENT: Alan Brass, Barbara Edwards, Mary Getten, James Gudda.l, James Rice, Betty Threinen, Robert Troemel , Chairman 'Dick Williams and Director Jon Born. iEMBERS ABSENT: Dorothy Terry. Discussion focussed on the above areas.. CRITERION HOMES' MPUD the trails subcommittee recommended that: The trail corridor proposal' by Criterion Homes be rejected and that said developer adhere to the Trail System Plan as adopted in November, 1976.. The trail corridor proposal is rejected on the basis of incompatability with the a.,Opted Trail System Plan, lack of continuity with. proposed corridor locations north and south of subject site and inappropriateness of uses relative to snowmobile usage in close proximity to residential property. The Park and Recreation Advisory Commission supported the subcommittee's recom- mendationas above. As per the Planning Director's request, staff will forward` the Park and. Recreation Advisory Commission's recommendation to the Planning Commission for consideration at the: November 8 1978 meeting. ADJOURNMENT Bfie ng no ther business the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.
