RESOLUTION NO. 2012-279
DECLARING A FINDING OF "NO NEED" FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
STATEMENT (EIS) BASED UPON REVIEW OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
WORKSHEET (EAW) DATED JULY 10, 2012 FOR THE PROPOSED PEONY
LANE/LAWNDALE LANE EXTENSION (2012070)
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Environmental Assessment
Worksheet (EAW) for Peony Lane/Lawndale Lane on September 18, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Environmental Review Program riles, the
City of Plymouth, acting as the responsible governmental unit, prepared and distributed
an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the Peony Lane/Lawndale Lane
project on July 23, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, the 30 -day review period expired on August 22, 2012, and all
comments and recommendations received from reviewing agencies and other interested
parties have been considered; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the proposed project does not present a
potential for environmental impacts of such significance that an Environmental Impact
Statement would be required;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does make a
Negative Declaration on the need for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the
proposed project known as the Peony Lane/Lawndale Lane extension for the City of
Plymouth, based on the Findings of Fact and Conclusions.
