RESOLUTION No. 2015-005
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF
PORTABLE RADIOS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police is dependent on the Hennepin County Sherriff's Office for its dispatching
services and communications equipment; and
WHEREAS, the current 24 radios are no longer supported and will be deactivated from the Hennepin
County Dispatch system in early 2015; and
WHEREAS, the remaining 24 radios will complete the portable radio update for the Plymouth Police
Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA authorizes the purchase of the 24 remaining replacement Motorola APX style portable radios to
meet the current and future needs of the police department at a price of $82,897.44.
