RESOLUTION No. 2014-311
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE
MEDICINE LAKE RETAINING WALL, PRK 13020
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, as owner and Janke General Contractors, as contractor have
entered into an agreement for the replacement of the Medicine Lake Retaining Wall (PRK 13020), and
said agreement was approved by the City Council on March 25, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the contractor Janke General Contractors has submitted a request for final
payment in the amount of $16,274.20 for a cumulative payment of $821,253; and
WHEREAS, the City's consultant has certified his acceptance of the work; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed and accepted all work on this project; and
WHEREAS, the funding authorization for this project includes engineering/administration
and construction costs at $953,469. The Park Replacement Fund is financing the project. The City
Council approved a $700,000 transfer from the 2013 surplus funds to the Park Replacement Fund
to help finance the project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the final payment for the replacement of the Medicine Lake Retaining Wall (PRK
13020) to Janke General Contractors in the amount of $16,274.20 is hereby approved.
