Special Council Meeting
August 26, 2014
Mayor Slavik called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. in the
Medicine Lake Room of City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on August 26, 2014.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Slavik, Councilmembers Wosje, Willis, Prom, Johnson, and
Bildsoe.
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Callister, Community Development Director Juetten, Public
Works Director Cote, Administrative Services Director Fischer, Park and Recreation Director
Evans, Police Chief Goldstein, Deputy Fire Chief Springer, Human Resources Manager Kone,
Finance Manager Bursheim, and City Clerk Engdahl.
2015 Budget/2015-2019 Capital Improvements Program
Staff discussed the follow-up items requested at the August 19 Budget study session as well as
the revised surplus request list. It was the consensus of the Council to divert the $192,665 from
the Vicksburg Lane project to the flashing yellow turn signal project.
The Council requested a cash balances in all funds report in the next Council Information
Memorandum.
Community Improvement Fund
Administrative Services Director Fischer summarized the community improvement fund
materials.
Set Future Study Sessions
The following study sessions were scheduled:
1. September 23 at 5:30 p.m. —City Manager's performance review
2. October 20 at 6:00 p.m. — Public Works expansion and fuel management system
replacement (meeting held at Public Works Maintenance Facility)
