RESOLUTION No. 2014-284
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR THE
2014 PARK TRAIL PROJECT (14003)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2014 Park Trail Project, bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Bituminous Roadways, Inc. of Mendota Heights, MN, is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, an easement is required to construct Bid Alternate A; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the Base Bid for to Bituminous Roadways,
Inc. of Mendota Heights, MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the Base Bid with Bituminous Roadways, Inc. of Mendota Heights, MN in the name of the
City of Plymouth for the 2014 Park Trail Project according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $297,160.00.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be from a
Hennepin County Grant ($100,000.00) and from the Park Dedication Fund ($212,018.00).
