RESOLUTION No. 2014-261
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE
2014 RETAINING WALL PROJECT ( 14017)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2014 Retaining Wall Project, bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Jeremy Janson Construction, Inc. out of Sauk Rapids, MN, is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Jeremy Janson Construction,
Inc. out of Sauk Rapids, MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the bid with Jeremy Janson Construction, Inc. out of Sauk Rapids, MN in the name of the
City of Plymouth for the 2014 Retaining Wall Project according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $105,576.00.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be from the
Street Replacement Fund ($98,236.95), and from the Deerhaven Homeowners Association ($28,367.85).
