RESOLUTION No. 2014-256
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDED JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR
THE UTILIZATION BY THE CITY OF MEDICINE LAKE OF CITY OF PLYMOUTH RENTAL
INSPECTION PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council adopted Resolution 2012-135 on April 24, 2012 approving a Joint Powers
Agreement between the City of Plymouth and the City of Medicine Lake for the City of Plymouth to provide rental
licensing inspection services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has completed one inspection of all rental units in the City of Medicine Lake and
approved all units; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has reviewed the fees charged, based on the time spent inspecting the City of
Medicine Lake units; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has determined that an amended fee structure is appropriate; and
WHEREAS, state law expressly allows the execution of joint powers agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BYTHE MAYOR AND CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign said amended agreement.
