RESOLUTION No. 2012-234
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING PAYMENT NO. 2 AND FINAL
CONOR MEADOWS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 11019
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and New Look Constriction, Inc. as contractor,
have entered into an agreement for the Conor Meadows Improvement Project, City Project No.
11019, and said agreement was approved by the City Council on October 25, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Staff has certified acceptance of the work and approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $131,253.00. The work to date is
$163,460.45 and is approved. This project is more than the original contract
amount by $32,207.45 or 24.5% due to the installation of additional erosion
control measures including erosion control blanket, compost application, and
native seeding.
2. The work performed by the contractor for the Conor Meadows Improvement
Project No. 11019 and certified to the Council by Engineering staff as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the
conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner,
required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of $23,216.27 to New Look
Contracting, Inc. for the Conor Meadows Improvement Project, City Project
No. 11019, is hereby approved and the City's Administrative Services Director
is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith from the Water
Resources Fund.
