RESOLUTION NO. 2012-210
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
FOR THE FOX GLEN, PIKE LAKE AND 37TH AVENUE
EDGE MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 12002
WHEREAS, the 2012-2016 Capital Improvement Program made recommendations for
the Fox Glen, Pike Lake and 37th Avenue Edge Mill and Overlay Project; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary to undertake a Preliminary Engineering Report to
determine the work required on each street recommended to be considered for the Fox Glen,
Pike Lake and 37th Avenue Edge Mill and Overlay Project, City Project No. 12002; and
WHEREAS, the streets located in three project areas. The Fox Glen area is located on
35th Avenue, 39th Avenue and 40th Avenue from Fernbrook Lane to the cul-de-sac east, the cul-
de-sacs east and west of Dallas Lane between 36t1' Avenue and 38t1' Place, Dallas Lane from
Fernbrook Lane to 39t1' Avenue and the Dallas Lane cul-de-sac west of Dallas Lane. The
second area, Pike Lake, is located southeast of County Road 61 to and including Goldenrod
Lane, north of County Road 10 to the City of Maple Grove city limits, excluding Hemlock
Lane from the City of Maple Grove to the cul-de-sac south, and includes the area of 61"
Avenue to 62nd Avenue from Goldenrod Lane to Deerwood Circle. The third area is located on
37t1' Avenue from Plymouth Boulevard to approximately 1,285 feet east of Plymouth
Boulevard is the recommended project area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the City Engineer is instructed to
prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report with all convenient speed by advising the Council,
in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvements are feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement
and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended.
